Millie Moreton is a paralegal in Rothera Sharp’s commercial and dispute resolution departments and is based at our Lace Market office.
Millie deals with all new client enquiries relating to commercial law and dispute resolution, including boundary and debt recovery disputes by phone, email and in person. She also conducts research for cases and ensures clients are kept up to date with any progress on their case.
Qualifications & Experience
Millie graduated from Leeds Beckett University in May 2019 with a 2:1 LLB law degree with honours. During her time at university Millie acted as a mentor for first year students, helping them with employment skills, interview techniques and coursework queries. She also worked for the university’s law clinic, including booking client meetings and writing letters of advice.
In her final year of university Millie worked for a criminal law firm as part of her day release module, where she worked alongside barristers and solicitors to take notes in client meetings, assist in trials and organise case files.
Millie has also worked in a variety of customer service, sales and front of house roles, including helping with the remodeling of a retail store which involved re-merchandising and re-advertising, all of which has helped develop her customer service skills.
Millie aspires to complete her LPC part-time in 2020 alongside her full-time paralegal role in either Nottingham or Sheffield, with a view to gaining a training contract and eventually qualifying as a solicitor.
