Christina Yardley

Partner & CEO

Christina Yardley was appointed as CEO of Rothera Sharp in January 2019. In this role Christina is involved in running the business of the firm including generating and coordinating ideas and ensuring that they are implemented. She is also dedicated to creating a vision for the firm as people-focused, operating ethically and collaboratively within the wider community in order to do the best for the firm’s clients and staff and exceed client expectations.

Christina joined Rothera Sharp Solicitors in 2017 as a partner in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department and is based at our Lace Market offices. The department is now recognised as the largest Wills & Probate team in Nottinghamshire, specialising in all aspects of private client work and operating across 7 offices.

Christina‘s expertise covers a full range of private client services including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Care Fees Planning, Power of Attorney, Court of Protection, Tax Planning and Conveyancing, she is also STEP qualified.

In addition to her day to day duties, Christina is heavily involved in charity work and promoting local businesses in Nottingham. She regularly works with accountants, financial advisors and other professionals to ensure the best result for her clients.

Christina is passionate about ensuring that people have access to free legal advice when they need it and regularly gives lively talks across the county to charities and groups. She is well known to many people in Nottingham for giving free and friendly advice through local legal clinics and is chair of two local charities-Men in Sheds and Cornwater Trust.

Qualifications & Experience

Christina has 10 years’ experience as a Wills and Probate solicitor. She graduated with a degree in law from Nottingham Trent University and qualified as a Wills & Probate solicitor in 2008. Christina spent several years working in the Wills and Probate department of another Nottingham based law firm before being promoted to director in 2015. In 2017 Christina joined Rothera Sharp Solicitors as a partner in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department. Christina is also a fully accredited member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
