Chloe Smart is a Licensed Conveyancer in the residential property department at Rothera Sharp and is based at our Lace Market Office.
By adopting a personal, approachable and understandable service for clients, Chloe aims to make the conveyancing process as efficient and stress-free as possible, using her professional experience to drive the process forward smoothly from start to finish.
Chloe’s experience includes acting for both purchasers and sellers of all types of properties, including freehold and leasehold properties, new build properties and buy to let investments. Chloe has particular experience with shared-ownership properties and can assist with new build purchases of shared ownership properties, sales & purchases of existing properties and staircasing to higher shares.
Other experience includes acting for purchasers with the aid of Help to Buy, by way of either a Help to Buy loan or ISA. She has similar experience redeeming Help to Buy loans.
In addition, Chloe has a wealth of experience dealing with remortgages and in particular experience dealing with equity release transactions.
She is further able to provide advice to co-owners about how they may wish to hold their property and provide declarations of trust to protect individual shares and interests where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience
Chloe joined Rothera Sharp in February 2019. She has 1.5 years’ experience as a Licensed Conveyancer, having qualified in 2017. Prior to joining Rothera Sharp, Chloe worked at TWM Solicitors LLP in Surrey from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that Chloe worked as in-house legal for National Counties Building Society.
