Alison Richardson is a member of the family team and is based at the Arnold branch office. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of family law, in particular private law children matters, financial remedy and disputes between unmarried/cohabiting couples. She also regularly acts for clients on divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships and co-habitation agreements.
Alison also drafts and prepares wills and lasting powers of attorney from the Arnold office.
Alison is known for her sympathetic yet down to earth approach with clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Alison has over 20 years’ experience working in Family Law and six years’ experience of Wills and Probate work. Alison began her career in law in 1985 as a Trainee Legal Executive with Martin Smalley’s. In 1990 she joined Whittingham, Bradwell and Mack Solicitors and started working in family law. Alison became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2003 and joined the Arnold office of Sharp Young & Pearce in the same year before the firm went on to merge with Rothera Dowson in 2016. Alison also drafts and prepares wills and lasting powers of attorney from the Arnold office, which she began doing in 2012 after studying a CILEX diploma in Wills & Probate.
