Rothera Sharp’s Wills and Probate department is thrilled to be in the running for the Regional Solicitor Firm of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards 2018.
The awards, which were launched this year by Today’s Wills and Probate have been created to highlight achievements and recognise the successes of those in the Wills and Probate sector.
The Regional Solicitor Firm of the Year category is presented to a firm who has best proven all round excellence within the practice area of wills, probate and estate management and engages effectively with clients through various channels.
In its application for this category, Rothera Sharp highlighted the extensive range of services that its Wills and Probate team can advise on, as well as the department’s commitment to the development of its staff. Community activities that the team are involved in were also emphasised within the submission, including its close work with Age UK Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, free legal advice clinics and talks that various members of the team provide and details about how the department operates to ensure it best serves the interests of its clients.
Wills and Probate partner Christina Yardley said: “It is a fantastic achievement that the work of the department and the wider firm has been acknowledged through being selected as a finalist for Regional Solicitor Firm of the Year. We are really looking forward to the award ceremony and meeting other firms that have received recognition through these awards.”
Other categories at the awards include Probate Provider of the Year, National Solicitor Firm of the Year, Young Practitioner of the Year and Will Writing Firm of the Year.
The award ceremony will be presented by broadcaster and Journalist Jennie Bond and take place on Thursday 18th October at The Palms Conservatory in Ardencote, Warwickshire.
